The Culture Care Connect Joint Coordinator + Aftercare Onboarding Workshop was held on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country in Canberra, opening with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by Aunty Matilda House.
This deadly group came together from across the country, each bringing their own experiences, perspectives and connection to community.
Over the course of the workshop, participants built on shared knowledge and strengthened the work of delivering culturally grounded aftercare and suicide prevention support for mob.
Culture Care Connect is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled program focused on suicide prevention and holistic aftercare, grounded in culture and community.
