ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Data and Privacy Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring Gateway Health’s client information systems run seamlessly, securely and strategically. Leading a dedicated team, you’ll oversee the management, quality, and compliance of health data and records across the organisation.
In this full-time role, you will provide expert advice on privacy matters, manage privacy breaches and complaints, and develop policies and training to support a culture of privacy awareness.
Beyond compliance, you’ll bring data to life; analysing and translating data into actionable insights to support service planning, program improvement, funding opportunities and organisational strategy. You’ll partner with our senior leadership team to enhance the use of data for decision making, drive digital transformation initiatives, and strengthen data capability across Gateway Health.

ABOUT YOU
You are a collaborative and proactive professional who combines technical expertise in health information and privacy with strong leadership skills. You will also bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, data science, health or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of privacy legislation, Freedom of Information and records management in a health or community context.
- Proven ability to analyse complex data and provide clear, insightful reports that support planning and improvement.
- Excellent communication skills — you’re able to explain complex information in a way that is clear and accessible to different audiences.
