Careers

NACCHO is proud to serve as the national leadership body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health in Australia. We represent 148 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) that operate across more than 300 clinics nationwide, providing holistic, comprehensive, and culturally competent primary health care services. Our sector is the largest employer of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia, with over half of our 6,000 staff identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.

NACCHO and the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sector have been at the forefront of driving system reforms, including our contributions to the National Agreement on Closing the Gap and other critical initiatives.

As our impact grows, so does our team. We are expanding to support a broadening range of programs and projects. This is an exciting and transformative time to work in the health sector.
