The Executive Director, Aboriginal Health reports to the Chief Executive Officer Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) for the provision of strategic and professional leadership and significantly contributes to the achievement of SALHN’s strategic priorities as outlined in the Strategic Directions map 2019-24, South Australia’s Health Care Plan and SALHN’s Service Level Agreement.

The successful incumbent will be accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for Aboriginal Health Service delivery performance in accordance with SALHN’s Service level Agreement, Integrated Governance and Performance Frameworks and Management Domains and associated performance agreements.

The Executive Director, Aboriginal Health will lead the organisational in developing its service plan in how SALHN delivers culturally appropriate care in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait health professional staff development and engagement across the network.
