The Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC) was established in 1990 as a peak leadership and policy organisation representing Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) across Queensland at both a state and national level. QAIHC’s role is to support its Members through sector development activities focused on building capacity and capability and through policy and research-related activities that gather evidence to improve public policy and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health investment in Queensland.
