IBSF is designed to help Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) address some of the key challenges they face in registering and delivering services under the NDIS or expanding their NDIS service offering.
Eligible ACCHOs can apply for $20,000 (excluding GST) in IBSF to put towards eligible activities to assist to build their capability and capacity to register and deliver services under the NDIS.
IBSF is designed to increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations delivering NDIS services.
IBSF offers funding to help eligible ACCHOs address the basic establishment costs, and business and technical challenges in registering and delivering services under the NDIS and to equip themselves to operate more effectively long-term under the NDIS model.
Eligible ACCHOs are encouraged to apply for IBSF regardless of their current NDIS registration status. That is, both registered and unregistered eligible ACCHOs are encouraged to apply for IBSF.

IBSF Application Form
ACCHOs must complete the Application Form which asks relevant questions about your ACCHO.
Application forms must be submitted by 11pm (AEST) Friday 11 June via upload to this website in the section below.
BSF Readiness Assessment Form
Applicants must complete an online Readiness Assessment via Microsoft Forms as part of their application. This Readiness Assessment will be a useful tool to guide conversations during Direct Contact (see Section 15 of the Funding Guidelines) to determine which IBSF activities will best support your organisation to become NDIS ready.
Although a Readiness Assessment must be completed – the outcome of the Readiness Assessment will not affect the success of your IBSF application.
Readiness Assessment forms must be completed online by 11pm (AEST) Friday 11 June.
