Women in Port Lincoln came together to focus on their health, share knowledge and connect in a culturally safe space

Across the day, women accessed health checks, asked questions and took steps to support their wellbeing, from cervical screening and breast health to sexual health and pelvic care.

Many women chose to take part in STI screening, taking steps to look after their health. There was also space to yarn about smoking and vaping, with women exploring what change could look like in a way that felt right for them.

Alongside care, women connected through art, pampering and shared meals, strengthening relationships and community.

Women left with greater confidence, stronger connections and practical knowledge to support their health and their families.

If you’re thinking about quitting smoking or vaping, yarn with your local ACCHO or TIS team. Learn more here
