Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HIV Awareness Week

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HIV Awareness Week

“U AND ME CAN STOP HIV”

The South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) has conducted its fifth annual HIV Awareness Week. On the 29th of November, The Hon Ken Wyatt launched a series of educational info-graphics targeting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The info-graphics deliver important preventative health messages and encourage awareness of the available treatments such as Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).

You can find the info-graphic resources HERE

As well as the info-graphics, SAMRHI has put together an ATSIHAW booklet on HIV and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. This is available HERE.
