AHCWA Ear Health Training Workshops

AHCWA Ear Health Training Workshops

AHCWA and EarTrain recently partnered to deliver a series of ear health training workshops across four regions of Western Australia over a two-week period from May 4 to May 15 2026.

AHCWA wrote on social media:
The workshops were held in the Great Southern, South West, Kimberley, and Metropolitan regions, with the aim of strengthening skills and knowledge in ear and hearing screening, assessment techniques, and interpretation to support continuity of care and improved service delivery within communities.

A total of 62 representatives from Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS), government agencies, and non-government organisations attended the workshops. The training provided valuable opportunities for professional development, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among participants.

Feedback received from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with participants highlighting the practical and informative nature of the workshops and the relevance of the content to their roles. We thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of these sessions, and we look forward to continuing to build workforce capacity in ear and hearing health across Western Australia.
