October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month and OAMIES from across the AMS proudly showed their support by wearing their Breast Cancer Awareness shirts to help raise awareness about the importance of breast cancer research and screenings.
We’re excited to share that our group bookings with BreastScreen NSW have been a huge success!
– 18 people were screened in October
– 12 more are booked in for November
– 13 are currently waiting for a screening appointment
– 9 also expressed interest but were already up to date with their screening!
And remember, if you attend a screening with an OAMS group booking in November or December, you’ll receive a FREE gift pack!
A huge thank you to Breast Screen NSW Orange for their ongoing support and assistance in coordinating group bookings for OAMS clients. Shout out to Yarn and their talented artists for creating the beautiful shirts and merchandise that helped spark conversations and awareness throughout the month. And most importantly, thank you to all the women who took a positive step towards their health by participating in screening. Screening programs only work when people make time for their health and wellbeing. Whether you’ve already screened or you’re planning to book in soon, every screening makes a difference. Together, we’re helping create healthier communities, one screening at a time.
