Build Your Skills and Confidence in Contact Tracing During the Current Diphtheria Outbreak

In the context of the current diphtheria outbreak, and to assist ACCHO staff in gaining skills and confidence in conducting contact tracing, we’ve developed two new modules on NACCHO Online Learning:

1. Contact tracing: Protecting communities, respecting culture: Covering the general principles and steps involved in contact tracing, without disease-specific information to ensure it is broadly applicable.

2. Diphtheria contact tracing and management: Content specific to diphtheria, including information on the disease, vaccination, IPC, and case and contact management (noting local guidelines should always be followed).

Together, we can get diphtheria outta here!
