Come yarn with us! Help shape better, more culturally safe and accessible genetic healthcare for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The Integrated Genetics Health Care (IGHC) Project aims to develop an improved, culturally safe integrated genetics care model to enhance healthcare experiences and health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people accessing genetic health services.
We invite you to join us for a two-hour Yarning Circle and share your views, knowledge, expertise and experiences around:
– Genetic Health Service Access
– Understanding Genetic Healthcare
– Health Promotion and Service Coordination
– Workforce Development
Your voice, knowledge, and experience matter. This is an opportunity to have a yarn, share what is important to our communities, and help shape genetic health services that work better for our mob.
For more information or to register, please contact Timika via email: Timika.Kahu-Leedie@ahcwa.org
We look forward to yarning with you!
