About the Role
Join a dedicated team delivering mental health assessment and brief intervention to children, young people, and their families through home visits and assertive outreach. Working within a bio-psycho-social-cultural framework, you will provide culturally safe, trauma-informed care navigation and support to enhance mental health, social, and emotional wellbeing.
You’ll be well supported in your role by the Aboriginal Mental Health Workforce, along with access to the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) education framework, Ministry of Health training and networks, and other relevant professional development opportunities. Safeguards is committed to your ongoing growth through personalised learning plans, a comprehensive orientation program, and regular individual and group supervision to strengthen culturally responsive practice.
