Join Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week 2026

NACCHO is once again proud to be a Community Supporter of this year’s Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week. Women’s Health Week is Australia’s largest celebration of the health and wellbeing of women, girls and gender-diverse people. This year, it takes place from 7–11 September, and communities across the country are invited to get involved.

Why get involved?

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have long nurtured the wellbeing of their families and communities, often in systems that weren’t designed for them. This Women’s Health Week, we honour that strength and resilience and encourage women to take time for their own health and healing.

This year’s theme, “Do it anyway”, is about taking time for you, whatever that looks like. Whether it’s booking a check-up, having a yarn, going for a walk, taking a break, or seeking support, every step matters.

Register to receive free Women’s Health Week resources, updates and ideas from Jean Hailes. You can also order Women’s Health Week bags and First Nations resources by contacting whw@jeanhailes.org.au.
