Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service posted on social media:
Three of our Senior Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Amanda, Kelly and Yasmeen, recently spent five days in Perth as part of the KAMS Post Graduate Program.
They toured Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital and Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service, with highlights including patient stories on the wards, the Burns Unit at Fiona Stanley, a live surgical procedure, and time with children and staff at Perth Children’s Hospital.
Opportunities like this build the knowledge and skills our team brings back to the communities we serve.
