Medicines and Health Resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities

This collection of resources addresses various health conditions, and the medicines used for treatment, specifically designed to meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Curated from various health organisations, these materials provide valuable information that can be adapted to suit the specific needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

The resources cover a wide range of health topics, including alcohol use, cardiovascular health, ear health, mental health, pain management, renal health, respiratory diseases, scabies, sexual health, and trachoma. While these resources can be modified for specific groups, any significant changes should be discussed with the authoring organisation to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.

For more information and additional resources, please visit the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet. If you have suggestions for other useful resources, please share them with us at medicines@naccho.org.au.
