NACCHO 2026 Board Elections
Notice calling for nominations and applications for positions on the NACCHO board
NACCHO is calling for nominations and applications from suitable candidates for election to the positions of:
- Chairperson
- Deputy Chairperson
- Elected Directors
The elections will be conducted in accordance with the NACCHO Constitution and will take place at this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is being held on Tuesday 1 December 2026 in Canberra.
This AGM marks the conclusion of the transitional arrangements that have been in place since the Constitution was adopted in May 2025. As a result, all Board positions will become vacant, and NACCHO Members will determine the composition of the entire NACCHO Board, marking a key milestone under our new Constitution.

Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson nomination forms must be sent to the NACCHO Company Secretary by 8 September 2026:  company.secretary@naccho.org.au
Elected Director application forms must be sent to the relevant Affiliate contact in the table below by 15 September 2026:

NACCHO Code of Conduct
Members and Delegates attending the AGM must abide by the NACCHO Code of Conduct for Members and Delegates.
NACCHO Constitution
NACCHO AGM Voting Delegate
The NACCHO 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday 1 December 2026 at the National Convention Centre in Canberra.
Under the NACCHO Constitution, each member organisation has the right to appoint one voting Delegate.
Member organisations are requested to provide the name of their voting Delegate to NACCHO at least 3 working days prior to the date of the AGM, by completing and returning the ‘Notice of Appointment of Delegate Form’.

The appointment of a Delegate remains valid for all future meetings until it is revoked by providing notice in writing to the NACCHO Company Secretary.
