Today we recongise and celebrate the National Day of Recognition for Aboriginal Health Workers and Aboriginal Health Practitioners. This year’s theme Many Paths, May Ways acknowledges the diverse journeys into these professions and the many ways this workforce makes a different everyday.
We want to thank those who have shaped the path before and acknowledge those who are currently working in these vital roles and celebrate the 221 fabulous new AHW/AHPs who have graduated through NACCHOs First Nations Health Worker Traineeship Program – the future of #AboriginalHealthinAboriginalHands.
