Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service bringing life-saving dialysis treatment to Jigalong

We’re bringing life-saving dialysis treatment to Jigalong!

Our new Jigalong Dialysis Clinic is one step closer, with the old buildings on the future clinic site now removed to make way for construction.

More than 50% of PAMS’ dialysis patients are from Jigalong, highlighting the need for dialysis services closer to home. Once complete, the new clinic will help community members access essential, life-saving treatment without needing to travel away from their families, community and Country to receive ongoing care.

Construction is expected to begin in May 2027, with the clinic planned to open in early 2028.

We’ll continue to share updates as the project progresses and we look forward to bringing this important new service to the Jigalong community!
