Shaping the future of Aboriginal-led precision medicine

Shaping the future of Aboriginal-led precision medicine

AH&MRC of NSW wrote on social media:

Stage 3 of the NSW Aboriginal-Led Precision Medicine initiative is underway, with co-design workshops taking place with Aboriginal Medical Services staff and Aboriginal community members across NSW.

Delivered in collaboration with AH&MRC and ALIGN Working Together, the workshops create culturally safe spaces for yarning, sharing knowledge and exploring community priorities, opportunities and concerns around precision medicine.

By placing Aboriginal voices, cultural knowledge and lived experiences at the centre, the initiative aims to shape an approach to precision medicine that is community-led, culturally appropriate and responsive to the needs of Aboriginal communities across NSW.
