Share your story to raise awareness of FASD

Do you, or someone you know, live with FASD, and want to share your story on the importance of supporting alcohol-free pregnancy?

FARE is inviting expressions of interest from individuals and families who would like to share their lived experience as part of a new national project. This work aims to strengthen awareness and understanding of FASD, while supporting healthy, alcohol‑free pregnancies and breastfeeding across Australia.

We understand that sharing your story is a deeply personal choice. Your lived experience, knowledge, and strength are powerful, and when shared in your own way and on your own terms, they can help guide others, spark important conversations, and strengthen community understanding.

Your voice can support others to feel safe, supported, and confident to reach out for care when they’re ready.

“Growing strong healthy mums and bubs leads to healthy communities.” (Pat Turner, former NACCHO CEO)
