Suss Out Your Susus

Suss Out Your Susus

Know what’s normal for you by checking your breasts every month. Don’t wait for the breast screening bus every two years.

Remind your sistas and aunties, and have a yarn with your young girls about breast checks so they start early and know what’s normal for them. No shame, just staying strong for you, your family and your mob.

Self checks are important between screenings to catch anything before it can turn serious. If you notice something new or different don’t wait for your next screen. Yarn with your health worker. They can organise the right follow up for you.

If you don’t know how to suss out your susus, ask a health worker at your ACCHO – they’ll talk you through what to look for.
