That’s a wrap of the 2026 QAIHC Members Conference!

What a powerful way to close two deadly days on Yugambeh Country. Day 2 put community-driven research and sovereignty centre stage.

Associate Professor Greg Pratt shared work to strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research ethics governance, before Adam Heterick brought Indigenous Data Sovereignty from theory into practice.

A lively panel explored the sector’s research priorities and how QAIHC can support greater ACCHO involvement. Members also shared their perspectives on progressing the National Health Reform Agreement before coming together for QAIHC’s Annual General Meeting.

Thank you to MC Dan Bourchier, our speakers, panellists and Members for bringing your knowledge, ideas and energy. We leave connected, inspired and ready to keep strengthening our sector together.
