Webinar: Practical Medicare Billing and Professional Services Review Scheme for Clinicians

Webinar: Practical Medicare Billing and Professional Services Review Scheme for Clinicians

This webinar is tailored specifically for clinicians working within ACCHOs, with a strong focus on practical, day‑to‑day billing knowledge and clinical documentation practices that support safe, appropriate, and compliant use of Medicare.

Webinar Details:

  • Thursday, April 23, 2.00PM-3.00PM AEST
  • Register here.

Clinicians will be guided through the essentials of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), including common billing scenarios, documentation expectations, and how to align clinical decision‑making with Medicare requirements. The session will also build awareness of the Professional Services Review (PSR)—what it is, how it operates, and the role it plays in supporting practitioners to maintain appropriate billing practices.

Designed to be clear, practical, and relevant to real clinical workflows, this session equips clinicians with the knowledge to reduce risk, strengthen confidence, and support high‑quality patient care.

By the end of this webinar, clinicians will be able to:

  • Apply practical knowledge of MBS billing in common clinical situations
  • Understand key documentation requirements that support compliant billing
  • Build awareness of the PSR scheme and its relevance to everyday practice
  • Identify early warning signs of risk and know where to seek guidance or support

This is the second session in our two‑part series, complementing the senior management webinar and contributing to stronger Medicare capability across whole organisations.
